the practice
FORWARD BEING is an awareness-based practice, curated and personalized to help integrate simplicity of mind and life through education and skill-sharing.Fusing traditional meditative arts with modern neuroscience, this practice is rooted in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction...a combination of meditation, body awareness, basic yoga and other somatic and cognitive skills. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Wellness Coaching round out the practice for a complete depth of support.MBSR has been scientifically proven to reduce anxiety and depression, manage distress, provide benefits for chronic illness and pain, and generally improve psychological, physical and spiritual health.
This practice can be engaged in multiple forms, including a prerequisite 3-session introductory course (leading to individual sessions), an eight-week intensive, as well as other individual classes & therapies. Follow-up support and workbooks are also included. Individual session for meditation instruction and yoga nidra are also available. Multiple sessions are recommended for thorough results.Sessions are by appointment only, generally through tele-conferencing. Personal visits to lodgings and public spaces in Northern New Mexico can be arranged as well.Connect with me through the Contact page for a free consultation, pricing, scheduling structures, and to make appointments.
